Bell Micro LPGA Classic Heats Up This Spring

Spring in Alabama is the perfect setting for the second installment of the Bell Micro LPGA Classic. Moved to May 2010 from its originally scheduled date of October 2009 in order to accommodate facility and course enhancements to the host venue, the second annual Bell Micro LPGA Classic is gearing up for a spring showdown amongst Alabama’s blooming azaleas and abundant sunshine.

The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail’s Crossings course at Magnolia Grove in Mobile will again host the multimillion dollar event, which will showcase a full field of professional LPGA golfers; including last year’s winner Angela Stanford.

"The inaugural Bell Micro LPGA Classic was a great success for our company – we hosted many of our top customers and vendors throughout the tournament," noted Don Bell, Bell Micro’s president and CEO. "We are thrilled about our continued partnership with the LPGA and are looking forward to teeing off this spring, which is a wonderful time of the year in Alabama."

The $5.1 million redesign and renovation of the Crossings course at Magnolia Grove is now complete, and the upgraded facility awaits the LPGA tour professionals slated to play in the Bell Micro LPGA Classic.
